Terms and Conditions – Coming Geek
Last Updated: March 2026
By accessing and using Coming Geek, you fully agree to the Terms and Conditions described below. We recommend reading this document carefully to understand the guidelines, rules, and limitations of our platform.
1. Nature of Service and Content Curation
Coming Geek is an informational portal dedicated to pop culture and entertainment, focusing on the promotion of movie, series, and game materials.
Curation: We are under no obligation to catalog every release in the market. Our team performs a rigorous curation process, prioritizing high-value content that drives engagement and relevance for our audience.
Anti-Piracy Policy: We do not host, sell, or distribute movie files, full episodes, or game executables. All video material is embedded from official sources, respecting original copyrights.
2. Display of Trailers and Posters
Our primary commitment is to display official materials. However, we adopt specific guidelines for our page layouts:
Video Slots: If a movie, series, or game does not yet have an official trailer or teaser released, the page will display a poster (official or fan-made) to fill the featured slot. Once the official trailer is released, the system will automatically update that slot with the official video.
Visual Priority: Official Posters are always our first choice. In their absence, we use Fan Posters (artwork created by designers and enthusiasts).
3. Relationship with Partner Designers and Fan Posters
Coming Geek deeply values the digital artist community. To ensure a transparent relationship:
Voluntary Contribution: The submission or authorization of artwork by partner designers is strictly voluntary. Coming Geek does not pay for, coerce the production of, or engage in any form of intellectual theft or plagiarism.
Selection Criteria: If two or more partner designers create a Fan Poster for the same title, the site administration reserves the exclusive right to select which artwork best aligns with the visual identity and needs of the page.
Social Media Usage: By authorizing the use of a poster (whether official or fan-made) on the website, the author automatically grants permission for Coming Geek to use the same image on its social media channels for promotional purposes. We guarantee that proper credits and appropriate labels ("Fan Poster" or "Official Poster") will be included in all posts.
4. Content Life Cycle (Validity Policy)
Our editorial focus is "Hype" and anticipation. Therefore:
All informational material (technical sheets, synopses, trailers, and dates) is removed from our active grid 30 days (one month) after the official release of the work.
The site does not function as a perpetual archive or historical encyclopedia. We are not responsible for maintaining links or information for titles whose promotional period has expired.
5. Intellectual Property and Disclaimers
Third Parties: Trademarks, logos, and trailers belong to their respective studios and developers, used under the "Fair Use" doctrine for informational purposes.
Coming Geek: The platform design, visual identity, and original texts are the exclusive property of the creators of Coming Geek (operated in conjunction with AngoCinema).
Disclaimers: We are not responsible for changes in release dates made by studios or for broken links originating from external platforms.
6. User Interaction and Conduct
If the site provides comment sections, the user agrees to:
Maintain civility and respect.
Refrain from posting spoilers without warnings, hate speech, or links to pirated content. Failure to comply will result in the removal of the comment and a potential ban.
7. Partnerships
Coming Geek is always open to new commercial partnerships, promotional exchanges with designers, and collaborations that add value to the geek community.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions, as well as the operations of this site, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Angola. Any legal dispute arising from the use of this site shall be resolved in the competent Angolan courts.
